Come tired. Leave alive.
Come tired. Leave alive.
At Big Cypress Refuge, we create environments where men can experience adventure, rest, and honest conversation.
Across every role men hold - as individuals, employees, leaders, husbands, and fathers - men are silently running on empty. When a man is tired, everything connected to him feels the weight.
At Big Cypress Refuge, we serve men - Leaders, CEOs, Veterans, Pastors, Ministry Leaders, Fathers and Sons - men who carry the weight of performance, pressure, deadlines, and expectations.
Big Cypress Refuge creates retreats for small groups of men where they can experience personal and deep connection through adventure, rest, and honest conversation.
We create uncommon adventure, space to disconnect, freedom to be honest, and an environment to reconnect with God.
It creates lasting impact, restores exhausted ministry leaders, strengthens marriages and families, and helps fathers connect with their sons.
A restored man restores his family.
A restored family restores a community.
At Big Cypress Refuge, men come tired and leave alive.

In the summer of 2025, Big Cypress Refuge was officially launched with the goal of carrying on what the "Everglades Camp" has always been - disconnect from the busyness of life and spend time in one of the most pristine and untouched areas Florida has to offer.

Big Cypress Refuge creates retreats for small groups of men where they can experience personal and deep connection through adventure, rest, and honest conversation.

Men are unwell. The pressure to provide at home, lead at work, and appear strong on the outside leaves them isolated, exhausted, and burning out at unprecedented rates.
